Thank God for what you have

It's yet another quick make! I love it. This card can definitely be done within 15 minutes, maybe even 10 minutes. I used a mint green cardstock for the base of my card and a white piece of cardstock cut slightly smaller and them distressed it with some brown ink and gently brushed the ink pad around the edges. I used a sponge to pull some of the ink into the centre of the card. Then in the same brown and a mint colour I stamped the flowers and leaves. You can use any floral stamps that you have to create this effect. I stamped 3 tiny flowers towards the top of the card that would frame part of the sentiment I was about to stamp. The sentiment comes from a Stampin Up set called Trust God. I'm not sure if they sell this particular set anymore but it's always worth looking out on ebay as I have noticed lots of Stampin Up products are often listed as crafty people look to renew their craft supplies so want to raise some money by selling off some of their stamps. The sentiment reads:

Thank God for what you have, Trust God for what you need.

I finished off the card with 3 little gems. This style of card is easy to replicate with a variety of different stamp sets. Try it yourself and get creative.

Golden wings

Another quick make using the butterfly thinlits die range from Stampin Up. A blank card is layered with patterned paper and white cardstock, each piece cut slightly smaller than the one before. The final layer has been directly stamped on using tiny flowers and leaves that I have in my collection from a variety of stamp sets. Then I used the butterfly thinlits die (the small one in the picture link) and cut out 2 in complimenting colours. On the butterfly that would be layered on top I then ran it through my Big Shot again with a die that had lots of delicate holes in it which created the lace like pattern and once the pieces were glued together I added some gems around the card and butterfly. Quick and simple.
