I came across these styler of cards recently as I was hunting around for a fun idea to do for children's birthday cards. I found a card that had a rocket on that shot into the sky and on a card it looked really effective. After looking at the mechanism I discovered these cards could be made really simply and these 2 cards are the examples to be used in my Monday craft workshop. I'm looking forward to showing the ladies how to make these and shall take some pictures so that I can post a tutorial later.

Wedding Invitations
It's been a little while since I was called upon to make some wedding invitations but I recently was put in contact with someone who was looking for some unique handmade invitations. She heard about me from a previous happy customer and we soon got to work coming up with a design that would suit the wedding theme and here is the final product.
The gatefold card is a popular design for weddings and I added a stamped image of a purple flower to the bottom right and added some bling with a floral ring of purple gems. The classic cadburys purple colour ribbon closes the card with a flower attached. Inside the card is printed with the wedding details and rsvp details (which I won't post a picture of for confidentiality reasons).
Here I am in production part way through the make. 85 invites standing tall and now are all packed up waiting for the happy couple to post out to their guests.
